A renovation and one-story addition to the regional emergency response facilities in Dutchess County. This 24-hour, 365-day facility remained fully occupied and operational during construction. The project team prepared and presented detailed program plans and budgets to the county executive, the county E-911 committee, the county legislative leadership, and the full county legislature. These presentations were crucial as they successfully explained the scope and budget to the county legislative bodies, who helped secure a unanimous vote to fund the work. The project team also provided additional technical assistance to the County in specifying and purchasing telecommunications equipment, as the County purchasing department did not possess the necessary technical resources.
