Renovations and tenant build-out of multiple 3,000 – 6,000 SF Danskin athletic retail centers.The Danskin Store, located on 68th Street and Columbus Avenue, served as the prototype for hundreds of similar stores across the country. The store posed several construction challenges to develop a budget and schedule that would set a standard for Danskin’s nationwide expansion. First, the project had a very tight budget and, in order to keep within the established cost allowance, stringent Value Engineering studies were performed during the project’s schematic design phase.
